Climat
Our summers last from November to April, with hot days and nights and
temperatures ranging from 20° to 45°. These summer months also include
the rainy season (October to April), but in this dry area, the rainfall
is minimal, with only 450 mm falling per year for a total of ten days.
Suitable summer attire would include light clothing in neutral or khaki
colours, a jersey and swimwear. Anti-malaria precautions are necessary
(consult your doctor) and although there are very few mosquitoes at
Mopaya, we can provide you with big sprays and creams.
May to October are the winter months and also our dry season. Days are
warm, with cold nights and temperatures inthe region of 5° to 30°. We
recommend light and warm clothing, including jackets and swimming costumes.
At any time of the year, walking shoes, a sun hat, cameras, video and
binoculars are essential.
