Mopaya Safari Lodge and Nokana safari Camp are located on their own private game reserve with 3.000
hectares traversing rights around the lodge plus 17.000 hectares of prime “BIG FIVE” game drives
including the famous 12.000 Hectares THORNYBUSH GAME RESERVE.
Mopaya and Nokana offers also to discover KRUGER NATIONAL PARK using public forbidden trails to go
deep inside the wilderness areas. With a special authorisation, it is possible to get out of the
4x4 cars and see the game as to enjoy a unique picnic facing the “BIG FIVE”.

HORSE BACK SAFARIS on the 3.000 Hectares of traversing around MOPAYA and NOKANA.
OVERNIGHT ADVENTURE AT BATELEUR BUSH CAMP for horse riders and traditional clients
of MOPAYA and NOKANA who wish to sleep 1 night in the deep bush.
Mopaya is a charming Lodge with large tents set on varnished terraces overlooking the bush as
traditional rooms with air-conditioned and beautiful sunset view. Accommodation consists of suites
and double rooms with mini bar and bathrooms. The Lodge caters for no more than 24 guests at a time.
Nokana is an eco friendly camp located next to a seasonal river – Nokana in Sotho - and a big dam,
under beautiful Led wood trees and Nob thorns, using solar panels and recycled wood as energy,
offering 5 small dome tents for 10 guests, a large tent for kitchen, bar, dining room and lounge,
outside showers, inside shower and toilet at a 50% less rate than Mopaya.
A fenced area of 11 km around the Lodge and the Camp with 45 km of private tracks allows secure
bush walks and peaceful horse back safaris, whilst avoiding the lions, leopards, hyenas, wild
dogs and cheetahs that stay on the Reserve or come to visit from time to time.
